HOUNDS ABOUND

The third Pet Rescue Mystery, HOUNDS ABOUND is an April release!  It follows BEAGLEMANIA and THE MORE THE TERRIER, the first two books in the series.  And, yes, the cover is adorable.  I’ve had really great covers for this series, as I did with those in my prior Kendra Ballantyne, Pet-Sitter mystery series, from which the Pet Rescue Mysteries are a spinoff.

HOUNDS ABOUND features a very special pet sanctuary for senior and disabled animals.  Yes, those kinds of shelters really exist to care for hard-to-rehome animals.  The staff and volunteers at these shelters work hard to find the animals new homes, or even foster situations.  They also provide a wonderful place for those who don’t find a new family to stay for the rest of their lives.  The fictional version in HOUNDS ABOUND is Save  Them All Sanctuary.

Of course, despite the murder of a person, all the animals in HOUNDS ABOUND are saved.  In the Pet Rescue Mysteries, “no-kill” means pets, not people! 

The next Pet Rescue Mystery, OODLES OF POODLES, will most likely appear in February 2013.

My Harlequin Novels

My next Harlequin novel will be UNDERCOVER SOLDIER, my first Harlequin Romantic Suspense story. Of course I did write a Silhouette Intimate Moments, NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON, a few years ago. The name of the Silhouette Intimate Moments series was eventually changed to Silhouette Romantic Suspense, which is now called Harlequin Romantic Suspense--so maybe UNDERCOVER SOLDER is not exactly my first in this serieshttp://lindaojohnston.com.

Sometime early next year, my next Harlequin Nocturne will be published. It’s part of my Alpha Force mini-series about a covert military unit of shapeshifters. Its title will most likely be UNDERCOVER WOLF.

Yes, I’ve got a lot of undercover characters in my Harlequin books these days, in more ways than one!
