Romance, romantic suspense and mystery… I’ve a lot of interests, and the diversity spills over into my writing. Professionally, I practice law, and I write. Sometime I even write about lawyers. My legal practice also entails writing…contracts.

So what’s your pleasure? A good story with a satisfying ending? Mine, too--and that’s what I like to write, no matter what the genre or subgenre.

My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Lexie is here to greet you in the middle of my middle initial O? because she would love for you to read the exploits of her alter-ego named… Lexie. That Lexie’s debut was in January 2005 in the first Kendra Ballantyne, pet-sitter, Berkley Prime Crime mystery, SIT, STAY, SLAY, and she's back in the second Kendra book, NOTHING TO FEAR BUT FERRETS. Check them out! And, of course, Lexie plays an important role in the third book of the series, FINE FEATHERED DEATH, published in May 2006, the fourth book of the series, MEOW IS FOR MURDER, was published in February 2007, and the fifth Kendra mystery, THE FRIGHT OF THE IGUANA, came out in October 2007. Both MEOW and IGUANA were on the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association bestseller lists for the months they were published! DOUBLE DOG DARE was a June 2008 release, and NEVER SAY STY appeared in April 2009. And Kendra and Lexie will return soon to recount their adventures in two books: HOWL DEADLY in December 2009, and FELINE FATALE, July 2010.

Be sure to watch for the new Lauren Vancouver, Pet Rescuer series! The first book BEAGLE MANIA will be out in March 2011. It's a spin-off from the Kendra series, and Lauren is introduced in HOWL DEADLY.

I'm also really excited about my Harlequin Nocturnes! The first, ALPHA WOLF, is about a sexy military man, a member of the Alpha Force, who just happens to be a werewolf, and the lovely veterinarian who saves his life, was a January 2009 release. Concurrently, CLAWS OF THE LYNX, a Nocturne Bites e-novella about the Alpha Force, was released by eHarlequin.com, and was available in the anthology AWAKENING THE BEAST in October 2009. Watch for additional Alpha Force stories, at least three more to come!

My second Nocturne, BACK TO LIFE, is about a lady K-9 cop who is also a Valkyrie, who saves the life of a tormented SWAT officer with secrets of his own. It was a June 2009 release. ALASKAN WOLF, another in the Alpha Force series, will be published in December 2010.
