Just finished "Nothing to Fear but Ferrets" and I enjoyed it so much. This is the first of your books that I have read, but not the last. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and could vision each place that you wrote about. Since it is not illegal to own ferrets in Nevada my husbanc and I owned 2 of the delightful creatures, they are really fun and funny little animals. Looking forward to reading more of your books. My husband and I raise St. Bernards and we just had a new litter of 9 on February 2,2006, do you still petsit and do you travel we have the 9 pups and 4 adults(LOL) oh yes we also have 1 cat, but he thinks that he is a dog.

Linda - congratulations on your new series of pet-related mysteries. Have just finished reading the second book re ferrets, and am looking forward to many more. One comment, however: Throughout the book you talk about there being five ferrets, with the exception of Chapter Two, where the number seems to be four?? I quote: "......scaring the four long and furry ferrets all the more." Interesting reading, however. Joan Biasucci

Hi! Just bought your latest book, "Nothing to Fear but Ferrets" and can't wait to start it. I loved your first book and am looking forward to more in the series. As of two weeks ago, I am a fellow Cavalier lover! My family just adopted a Cavalier puppy that is now 14 weeks old. His name is Teddy and he is the best dog ever!! He is a Blenheim and just so handsome. Your Lexie is a beautiful dog. Keep the books coming!!

Hi Linda! I just finished reading "Sit, Stay, Slay" and decided to surf on over to your website to get a look at Lexie! I love mysteries, especially when animals, particularly dogs, are featured. I enjoyed SSS immensely, and never thought I could possibly get emotional about a snake! You managed that, though, as I was surprised to find myself a wee bit worried when Py was under the weather. Amazing. I was so smug while reading the book--I thought I knew "who dunnit" all along--but I was WRONG! I can't wait to read the next one. Please give that sweet Lexie a tummy rub for me!

Congratulations on SIT, STAY, SLAY--the first "dog mystery" I've read that portrays a Cavalier as a real dog and character and not simply as a fashion accessory! Having been a Cavalier person since 1970, I'd be delighted to learn more about your Lexie and Sparquie (how else would a Cavalier spell an "ordinary" name like that?). How about including both of their pictures and maybe even their formal kennel names on your website. Congratulations also on finding a wonderful niche for Kendra in the dog mystery world as a pet litigator. She fits right in with the other dog mystery heroines who are writers, single moms, mushers, behaviorists, conformation folks, etc., etc. I hope you will find a way to write about Pythagoras again; what a classy snake! And your next book features a ferret!? Well, OK, as long as Lexie is still front and center. Cheers for Cavaliers!! Katharin Foster

I love mysteries with areas and other things (like "dogs") that I can identify with. I lived in Los Angeles County since I was 3 years old - and know the Hollywood Hills, SF Valley well. I just moved 3 years ago to Cody, Wyoming. I have Jack Russell - Bogie and Divot. I'm just starting your SIT, STAY, SLAY novel. I am a fan of Sarah Graves, Cynthia Baxter, Berenson and Sue Grafton. I have real almost all of their mystery novel. They are such stress relievers. I also read heavier stuff like DeMille - but there is such a freshness and fun in your type of novel. Keep going strong ! Barbara
